Game Overview

College Life with No Rules

Balancing classes, jobs, and personal temptations is harder than it sounds, and Applicant puts that tension front and center. As a female protagonist navigating a brand-new environment, every decision you make carries weight, from how you manage your time to the relationships and situations you find yourself drawn into.

What Makes It Stand Out

The game blends a sandbox structure with fully animated scenes rendered in 3DCG, giving the world a lively, immersive quality that static visuals simply cannot match. The open-ended nature of the experience means your character’s story can take very different directions depending on the paths you choose.

  • Animated 3DCG and 2DCG content throughout the game
  • Sandbox mechanics that let you shape your own progression
  • A wide range of mature themes including BDSM, domination, and explicit encounters
  • Diverse scenario types such as group sex, lesbian content, and voyeurism
  • Corruption and exhibitionism elements woven into the story

A Sandbox Built Around Choice

There is no single fixed route here. The sandbox design encourages exploration and experimentation, rewarding players who engage with the various systems rather than rushing toward a single outcome. Whether you lean into the corruption arc or explore other narrative threads, the game adapts to the choices you make along the way.

How do I install Applicant on Windows or Linux?

Most desktop builds of Applicant are portable: download the archive, extract it fully, then run the executable inside the folder.

Windows

  1. Grab the Windows (or Win/Linux) pack from the download section on this page.
  2. Extract with 7-Zip, WinRAR, or Windows Explorer until you see a real .exe (not still inside a nested zip).
  3. Launch that exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, use More infoRun anyway only when you trust the mirror.

Linux

  1. Extract the archive, then mark the binary executable if needed (chmod +x on the game file).
  2. Run from a terminal if double-click does nothing; missing libraries are the usual culprit.

If the pack is split into Part 1 / Part 2 / … download every part into the same folder before extracting.

Split files, compressed packs, or patches for Applicant: what should I download?

Desktop sections for Applicant often use a few patterns:

Full build
One complete archive (sometimes labeled Compressed). Extract and play.

Split files (Part 1, Part 2…)
All parts are required. Same folder, same names, then extract from Part 1 with 7-Zip/WinRAR.

Patch / update only
Goes on top of an older install of Applicant. Read the section title (for example “Ep.10 → Ep.11”) so you apply it to the right base version.

When several hosts list the same section (Mega, Pixeldrain, Gofile), pick any working mirror; you do not need every host.

What does “modded” mean on a page like Applicant?

Stock build = the base game as packaged for download. Modded means someone changed that package: extra scenes, unlocked gallery, cheats, UI tweaks, uncensored assets, or helper tools.

On Erovale you may see separate download groups (for example a main Windows pack plus a “Gallery Mod”). Treat each group as its own package: wrong combo or wrong folder = black screen or missing assets.

Tip: finish a clean install of Applicant first, then add a mod only if you need it. If anything breaks, reinstall from the main section and skip the mod.

Walkthrough, cheat, unlock, multi-mod: which one do I want?

Names vary by uploader, but on pages for games like Applicant they usually mean:

Walkthrough / guide mod
Nudges choices or reveals paths so you reach more content without replaying for hours.

Cheat / unlock / gallery unlock
Skips grinds: money, flags, locked CGs, or scenes that would otherwise need specific routes.

Multi-mod / “all-in-one”
Several small patches zipped together. Read the section title carefully; install order sometimes matters.

None of these are required to play Applicant. Prefer the plain build if you want the intended experience.

Why do I leave Erovale when I click a download for Applicant?

Erovale hosts the catalog page. The actual files for Applicant sit on third-party mirrors (Mega, Pixeldrain, Gofile, Uploadhaven, and similar). After a short local redirect you land on their site.

Those hosts may show their own timers or ads. That is not Erovale and it is not automatically a broken link.

Report as broken when the mirror is gone, returns a hard error, or never starts a real download after the host page loads. Mention platform + host (example: “Windows Mega 404”) so we can fix Applicant faster.

Something wrong with Applicant on this page. Where do I write it?

Use the two report tabs next to this FAQ (same game: Applicant):

Broken Link
Dead or unusable mirrors. Please describe which platform and which host failed.

Update Request
You know a newer version exists and this page still lists an older one. Optional: paste the version number you saw.

We read reports in queue. Clear notes beat long essays. Thanks for helping keep Applicant accurate on Erovale.

Latest Changelog
## v0.35
- Added characters, changed some character icons. Someone's avatars (Elizaveta really loves them) have shifted. I'll work on them in the next update, but for now, here's what I'm working on.
- Reinstated quest tracking in the character window, along with narrative hints from the main character's perspective. I hope it works, especially if you have 2 or more active quests.
- Narrative improvements to textbox visuals, style improvements.
- Narrative improvements to the text section
- expanded dialogues and events, character-specific personalization, more texture in speech and behavior. Adaptation to the textbox style (I didn't initially plan to include them). Work will continue.
- Expanded work in the Cafe. About... I don't remember, from 34 to 42 events, I think. With visuals and descriptions, consequences. When working, a block check is triggered
- routine, social, or risky events. Then a check for the success of the action, and you see the result. Leonard's influence was supposed to increase; he's willing to "cover up" your mistakes in exchange for "sympathy," but I'm not sure this module and the connection haven't fallen off. It needs to be tested and fixed.
- Expanded work in the Library... Same as above, but the connection is already being made to Elizabeth. The foundation for the new Mark-Elizabeth loyalty system (side choice) and the Library's corruption-purity system have been introduced. So, we have several directions that the player strives for or finds themselves in. Both will have their pros and cons, but for now, there's no deep gameplay or narrative content. This is the foundation that will be expanded in the future, but the foundation is laid here.
