Game Overview

Unexpected Currents

A decision to leave city life behind brings Anon and Suzie to Moonripple Lake, a community that appears ideal for starting over. The location quickly proves far more eventful than anticipated, as interactions with the residents lead to passionate affairs and troubling events that put their relationship under strain.

Players guide the male protagonist through this environment, selecting paths that alter how the story develops. Point-and-click interaction serves as the means to investigate locations and engage with characters, resulting in animated sequences that visualize key moments of intimacy and conflict.

Complex Relationships

Choices made throughout the experience affect the connections formed with various inhabitants. Some paths emphasize romance while others introduce netorare themes where cheating and corruption become central. Exhibitionism surfaces in certain encounters, heightening the sense of risk and excitement.

The narrative incorporates elements of horror and humor alongside the adult content. A range of sexual situations unfold in uncensored animated form, allowing the player to witness the consequences of indulgence and secrecy in this unique setting.

APK + RPA for Moonripple Lake: where do the files go?

On many mobile builds of Moonripple Lake, the package is split: one installer (.apk) and one or more data packs (.rpa). Skipping the data packs is the #1 reason the game looks empty or crashes.

Quick path

  1. Install the .apk first. Allow installs from your browser or file app if Android asks.
  2. Before opening Moonripple Lake, copy every .rpa into:
    Android/data/<package-or-game-folder>/files/game
(create files/game if it does not exist yet).
  3. Only then launch Moonripple Lake so it can load images, audio and extra content from those packs.

Handy apps for this step (pick one you like): Files (built-in on many phones), File Manager +, File Manager Plus, or RAR when you also need to unpack a zip/7z from the mirror.

Common mistakes: unzipping .rpa files, launching the game before the copy finishes, or dropping packs in Download/ instead of the files/game folder.

Android blocked the install of Moonripple Lake. What now?

That screen is Android protecting you from Play Store sideloads. It is expected for catalog APKs, including Moonripple Lake.

Work through it in this order:

  1. Confirm the download finished (file size matches what the host shows; incomplete APKs fail install).
  2. Open the file from a file app and approve Install unknown apps for that app only (Chrome, Files, RAR, etc.).
  3. If Android still refuses: free space, uninstall an older copy of the same package, reboot, try again.

A warning alone is not a “broken link”. Use the Broken Link tab only when the host itself is dead (true 404 / page never loads).

What does “modded” mean on a page like Moonripple Lake?

Stock build = the base game as packaged for download. Modded means someone changed that package: extra scenes, unlocked gallery, cheats, UI tweaks, uncensored assets, or helper tools.

On Erovale you may see separate download groups (for example a main Windows pack plus a “Gallery Mod”). Treat each group as its own package: wrong combo or wrong folder = black screen or missing assets.

Tip: finish a clean install of Moonripple Lake first, then add a mod only if you need it. If anything breaks, reinstall from the main section and skip the mod.

Walkthrough, cheat, unlock, multi-mod: which one do I want?

Names vary by uploader, but on pages for games like Moonripple Lake they usually mean:

Walkthrough / guide mod
Nudges choices or reveals paths so you reach more content without replaying for hours.

Cheat / unlock / gallery unlock
Skips grinds: money, flags, locked CGs, or scenes that would otherwise need specific routes.

Multi-mod / “all-in-one”
Several small patches zipped together. Read the section title carefully; install order sometimes matters.

None of these are required to play Moonripple Lake. Prefer the plain build if you want the intended experience.

Why do I leave Erovale when I click a download for Moonripple Lake?

Erovale hosts the catalog page. The actual files for Moonripple Lake sit on third-party mirrors (Mega, Pixeldrain, Gofile, Uploadhaven, and similar). After a short local redirect you land on their site.

Those hosts may show their own timers or ads. That is not Erovale and it is not automatically a broken link.

Report as broken when the mirror is gone, returns a hard error, or never starts a real download after the host page loads. Mention platform + host (example: “Windows Mega 404”) so we can fix Moonripple Lake faster.

Something wrong with Moonripple Lake on this page. Where do I write it?

Use the two report tabs next to this FAQ (same game: Moonripple Lake):

Broken Link
Dead or unusable mirrors. Please describe which platform and which host failed.

Latest Changelog
### 0.7
- v0.7
- At the start we get the resolution to the events at the end of the last update, then our couple goes out into town, to check out how their car repair is coming along. That's where they meet Duke.
- It's short and sweet, I had about a month of development time for this one, and I plan to deliver the next one with more content!

### 0.62:
- v0.62:- Broken save freeroam clickable locations should be fixed- Broken load/save screens should be fixed- NEW 'Latest posts' widget added- Additional Android fixes- Alternate way to get alcohol in EP3- Some of the ai animations were upscaled and color-corrected to reduce redness- Added '1 week later' screen after the cave scenes in Episode 6, as was intended

### 0.61
- v0.61
- Fixed Android build (had sound issues)- Added a 'a week later' transition screen'- Added broken saves disclaimer

### 0.6
- v0.6
- This one was full of setbacks, actually similar to Episode 4 in my mind.
- It moves the story along, and pushes some boundaries for the main character and his girlfriend- :)- The project has moved to 1080p to be more accessible to more people, as people have complained that their older machines can't handle the 1440p+ images, especially when motion is applied. This change should rectify the issues- :)- (notes below)- Near the end of the update, I had to resort to using a lot of ai animations, because onboarding a new animator to take on that load was simply not possible. You'll let me know what you think about those. They're mostly an improvement in regards to movement, but a downgrade at times in terms of quality, which can be fixed in the future- :)

### 0.51
- v0.51
- DOWNSCALED MOST EP5 ANIMATIONS TO 1080P (performance fix)- Added option to turn off animated backgrounds (performance fix)- fixed a couple of bugs- spelling & grammar adjustments

### 0.5

- removed currently unused extra star button on the gallery screen

- v0.4
- N/A

### 0.352
- v0.352
- BUgfixes

### 0.35
- v0.35
- Changes, additions, and fixes:- Halloween content- New Gallery functionality! (polaroids, replay scenes, special episodes)- Added sound effects to the scene where Suzie grinds on Skeeter's face (the drunk at the town square).
- During the run up to where you have the option to fight Caleb, removed the first stolen kiss due to it being over the top (IMO). You now only get the stolen kiss if you try to be passive.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn't see Trevor's phone conversations with Suzie- Several spelling mistakes found thanks to the good people in Discord- :)- Fixed a myriad of instances where the characters used wrong names (due to dynamic naming )- ty- Lord Bradley- for pointing it out!
- Issue with the gallery padlock solved.

### 0.3
- v0.3
- This one comes with many more choices, more content than the previous episode, and is more heavily seasoned with NTS flavor- :)- A couple of notes:- Your choices affect scenes immediately and later on as well. I'll get to writing a walkthrough in the coming days when I find the time.
- EP2 saves SHOULD work fine!
- If you wish to change Suzie's name (as is now possible), and don't want to restart from scratch, just start a new game, change her name, confirm, then load up your save. It should register across all saves.
- Two polaroids have femboy/non femboy versions. When you find all of them, just turn femboys off/on and go the the ep3 gallery to view the differences.

### 0.2
- v0.2
- There is now a free roam system enabled at story-relevant points in the game. It is not always accessible and I don't aim to make gameplay revolve around it.
- At the start of a new game, you can now change the MC's name, along with setting some preferences relevant to the story and content- you can change these later in the options as well.
- Polaroids. Throughout EP1 and EP2, there are now 6 total free-roam polaroids available for you to find, 7 depending on the preferences you set at game start or in options. After finding them you can view them again in the new Gallery.
- You can unlock the whole gallery without having to search for polaroids in freeroam
- if you're a Patron, with the code I'll provide in the release post.
- EP1 now has more content after Anon leaves the house to get money from the ATM. There are a couple of new scenes in there before he returns back home.
- EP2 is longer and has more scenes than EP1, and it has much more actual story development with some introduction to Moonripple Lake's mystery. It also brings the first simple choice you can make as a player (there will be more in ep3).
- Experimenting with a zoom/pan feature on certain scenes on certain spri
